		<description>Interesting. After Googling around town I’ve seen lots of talk of “plugins” being developed that can do the same as what Apple’s touting. Given that these developers have no control over YouTube, I’m guessing it’s either native Flash or real-time decoded playback via Quicktime architecture.

		<description>I&#039;ve been pursuing this internally today, and so far the only info I&#039;ve got is that such news is for Apple and YouTube to announce, not Adobe. (Adobe provides enabling technology, but Steve Jobs is making this announcement, and he&#039;s the one to clarify it.)

One reporter at the conference included this line, but it&#039;s not in direct quotation, and so needs corroboration:
   &quot;However, not all videos will be available next month, because YouTube needs to convert them to H.264. Initially, you’ll only get the most recent and popular shorts, but the entire catalog is promised for “this fall”, with more content being added each week.&quot;
